The general director of the Water, Sebastián Delgado, supervised yesterday the works of substitution of the networks of supply and cleaning of the Marqueses and Colón streets, and of supply in the place of the Castle of Aledo, whose completion is predicted for the first fortnight of the next month of March.
The works have a budget of 144,000 euros and cover the complete renovation of the sanitation network of the mentioned streets, with the installation of 345 meters of high density polyethylene pipe and the replacement of 110 residential connections with smooth PVC pipe.
Likewise, the potable water distribution network will be renewed at 625 meters on Marqueses, Colón, Campos and Plaza del Castillo streets, with high density polyethylene pipe, and the renovation of 140 residential connections.
At present, the paving works of the affected streets are being carried out on an area of ​​2,700 square meters, with printed concrete 10 centimeters thick, armed with electro-welded mesh and polypropylene fibers to avoid cracking, and finished with colored resin for its integration in the environment.
It will be completed with straight rustic type cobblestone.
